=UniqueNudes, *Charalei, ~sarah-erzsebet, =Catwoman69y2k, and I just arrived back at the Nakayama Studios group home (long story... but any house with extra room for traveling models is a GOOD house). The party was smaller than expected, as two of our sponsors experienced small emergencies and number of people that were expected to make it didn't (DB couldn't find a babysitter at the last minute, etc), but that's the way of events.

First, a word from our sponsors:

The owner of MojoRepublik didn't make it, due to being exhausted after a three-day, no-breaks meeting. He did send a giant banner, press, and a DJ (not to mention actual sponsorship).

The owner of one of Mojo Republik's partners came with a love-pig in hand, and was very complimentary. He wants us to throw more uber-exclusive parties. His version of uber-exclusive, however, is still way less exclusive than ours. But there may be talks of that in the near future.

Zizzazz was a HUGE hit. We explored combinations of the powdered energy mix with Jones colas, Mexi-Cokes, alcohols, and even POPCORN (surprisingly AWESOME, although not for the weak of tastebuds). As expected, models on energy concentrate and candy was... awesome.

DJ Air-x forgot the CD with my only song request, which sucked, but it was kinda appropriate because the song was the theme to the beach shoot with *Conundra and *Charalei, and without "Nunders" (as Figment says) it was less cool. Other than that, he played a lot of crowd faves mixed with some remixes that were really original, which was cool. He seemed to have a blast.

UniqueNudes unexpectedly donated a gigantic framed, signed print of Salmagundi to the grand prize winner of the pajama contest (in addition to ribbons and silly prizes we'd originally planned to hand out). The winner was Toby (one of the promotional models from the party posters), for his bold use of tiger slippers, and for bringing to the party the two women who shared the "sexiest" award (his wife Brit and sister Jesyka, both also in the promotional shoot).

At one point we ordered pizza, and the models ended up inviting the pizza guy to come back after his shift. There's a picture of all of us *with* the pizza guy as well. Surprisingly, he did actually come back.

The party went really well. Nobody sustained unhealable injuries, there was no drama, no breakages, no uncomfortable hittings-on, no drunkenness (we limited alcohol to protect against the above)... and yet, it was really exciting. It was just entirely confined to the GOOD exciting.

I can't think of anything else to say about the party, because my brain is trying really hard to get me to stop blogging and resume processing images from today's projection series. I shot the first several sections, about three different images per model. Each model had an animal pattern projected onto them and was shot using (almost) exclusively that light. There was an unexpected skylight adding some extra lighting in some images, but in most cases I was able to make that a non-issue.
