My full, unadulterated series (all 31 of them to date) will be posted on [link] very, very soon. My site is currently "under construction" and does not contain any actual galleries, which is why I can tell you about it on dA.

This is because some of my series contain content not allowed or "kind of" not allowed on dA, and it is against the rules to link to prohibited content. I am therefore not doing so, but only linking to somewhere that has NO content. But it will soon. I will make an announcement when the site goes live for real, but I will NOT be able to link at that point.

To clarify, there will NOT be any pornographic material on my site, unless you class what I post here pornography. However, my artistic values occasionally differ from dA rules, and while I am on this site I will work within their rules HERE.

Behind Loft 24's studio space there is a construction site.

Or rather, there is a flattened section of earth, with some hills of dirt, and a BUNCH of abandoned equipment. It has been like this since we started working there, and the best I can tell someone decided to build something there and then got bored and wandered off.

I thank them for their beautiful set.

*Charalei and ~exhalesvanillalace had a blast climbing and posing on one of the larger construction vehicles (some sort of dirt mover-scooper thing), and I had a blast photographing it. The shoot reflects the playful attitudes of the models and hopefully the fun shows through in the images.

We only shot on one of the vehicles for now--the models wanted to go play on more of them, but we were losing light so I called it done. Maybe when *Conundra is in town I'll take even more models to go play and do some depth of field stuff with different girls on different machines.

This is a shoot done with ~sarah-erzsebet at the UCR botanical gardens in Riverside, California. It was phyiscally challenging for me as the gardens are built on a steep hill and my lung capacity is still... shall we say... sub-par. The gardens, as mentioned before, are not nearly as lush in harsh May as they were in apparently nurturing December (SoCal is a lot of things. Normal isn't one of them), but we got some really pretty stuff.

The shoot was designed to be just a little surreal--classic ballet postures in a totally foreign environment. I like how it came out a lot, but I'll definitely want to revisit it when the site has more to offer. Sarah (who, like me, is recovering from a body-shattering car accident) also said she'd like to revisit when she's trained more. She was fantastic, but couldn't stay on pointe very long, especially on the uneven ground, so some of the more balance-intensive poses were even more challenging than they should have been. So, we'll go back in winter and reshoot. In the mean time, the first attempt is definitely worth keeping.

I went into the studio today to shoot Cyberpunk 3.0, Chess II, and a three-model bodyscape series.

I got there before the studio owner, so I decided to take *Charalei out back and shoot some nearby industrial stuff for a half hour while we waited. After ~exhalesvanillalace arrived we went back into the studio to await the last model and set up for shoot #1, which was to be with all three.

Some time after the actual call time I gave the model a ring. She didn't pick up. She did call back to say that she'd utterly forgotten the shoot, was reminded by her husband, had some other stuff to do, and would come sometime later.

I decided to skip the three model and move on to chess. Unfortunately I'd bought powder foundation rather than grease paint, so the fine ivory did not show up well against my model's brown skin. Though I'd brought all four of our makeup kits, somehow the clown white wasn't in them. Ix-ney on the body paint.

So I took ~exhalesvanillalace and *Charalei back into the industrial stuff and shot them together. And then we went back inside and waited some more.

Then I set up an inside shoot for both of them, and shot that, and then we waited some more.

Then it was dark enough to do blacklight (the studio's major problem is a giant skylight, so blacklight MUST be done at night), but two of the blacklights refused to turn on, so I gave up.

Theoretically we'll go back into the studio Sunday to re-attempt Cyberpunk and Chess. I didn't get bodyscapes but the indoor two-model is enough to keep me happy for now, and it's satisfied my need to mix race in a photoshoot. I haven't looked at the RAWs yet but if it looks anything like I expect... I like it a LOT.

Now shooting Cyberpunk 3.0 with *Charalei, Chess II with ~exhalesvanillalace and another mutli-model bodyscape with those two plus Neon Brit.

Outdoor adventure postponed for car reasons. My little neon has been overheating something fierce the last two days and driving it deep into deserty wasteland in the hottest part of the day seems like a really, really bad idea. More outside stuff can wait until I go back to Riverside where the local gods don't hate all human life.

Shooting starts at six, and is scheduled to end around 9. Me, three shoots in three hours? This'll be fun and interesting, or I'll get one or two shoots done and then get kicked out.

Now I'm off to do some last-minute visual referencing for the blacklight shoot and then it's off to the studio.
